[Founder Feature@TC] June 2020
Name: George Heng, Founder, 55yo, Singaporean
Technopreneur Circle member: Since April 2018
Company: SenzeHub (Heathcare)
Website: https://www.senzehub.com
Fun facts about me:
When I was much younger, I played the piano and violin and had stints in the Singapore Youth Orchestra. I’ve even been overseas with them to Rome!
The company under 20 words:
Vital signs wearables designed for early detection of condition deterioration and suitable for large-scale multi-users deployment.
What my company name & logo means:
“Senze” refers to the biosensors used for measurement of vital signs, and “Hub” references IoT as a gateway for ingestion of data on a large scale.
Why I started the company & my journey so far:
My dad at 87yo was in 4 hospitals over 4 months and I witnessed nurses manually taking vital signs every 4 hourly in the wards. That got me thinking how technology combined with the right infrastructure can be applied to solve this and have auto monitoring of multi-user vital signs on a large scale possible.
My lightbulb advice:
Test your ideas! Build something to validate for product-market fit! It is also important to focus on customer acquisition and monetization as even the best products in the world will need to get these right.
I am looking for:
Investors, Mentors / Advisors, Partners, Talents (team members)
