Fun facts about me:
As an aspiring enterpreneur it is very important to stay up to date with the latest happenings in the industry and reading is one of the things I love to do, be it business magazines or technical books. At the same time, staying fit is of prime importance to put in the extra hours and I do that by playing badminton and soccer, both of which I love!
I love teaching and training and out of passion have been doing so for a number of years, be it primary kids in an NGO or corporate professionals.
I love gaming as much as some of the hardcore gamers out there and I try to gather up my friends over a weekend and put in a few hours.
The company under 20 words:
Xaltius develops products that aim to bridge the gap between technology, learning and customer experience.
What my company name & logo means:
Xaltius is a combination of two words: Excellence which implies something of good quality, and altius which is a latin word meaning ‘higher’ and hence our tagline – ‘towards higher excellence’.
The ‘X’ is a symbol for the unknown in the mathematical world. The orange colour on the top right portion of the logo on the ‘X’ represents the colour of determination, success and always moving ahead. Lastly, the <> on either side of the logo comes from the famous HTML programming syntax which symbolizes being bound by what is inside it. Together, it means that, even if you are bound by the unknown, the way forward is always determination!
Why I started the company & my journey so far:
We started the company with the aim that our products could help niche industries bridge the gap between customer experience and knowledge acquisition using various technologies spanning from AI to AR.
The journey so far has been very inspiring and enriching. We have had the opportunity to meet various people, organizations and have learnt and grown from the experience. For us, our entrepreneurial experience has given us a lot to learn and cherish.
My lightbulb advice:
It is good to challenge yourself early. There are numerous opportunities and problems out there which are waiting to be solved and who better to tackle them than the young entrepreneurs of today!
